OTB – Head of Security I think he said he was. And the head of the ticket office too in order to reactivate my ticket.

North – Of course. They haven’t had a rise out of me yet. I have a figure, ticket for next year and this years refunded is an absolute minimum!

Re: Stewarding this season
Fantastic news Ben and when you meet the pricks that represent West Ham keep your cool and have a settlement that you'd accept before you start talking, they should at least refund your season ticket and offer you a free one for next season

Who are you meeting?

Demand a free season ticket next year

Your life turned upside down due to their incompetence to provide stewards fit for purpose

Rinse them as much as you can

Re: Stewarding this season
Scorchio - Missed 10 games. I'm including Burnley as the teams were only just walking out the tunnel when it happened.

Meeting with the club is due this week. Just had a phone call, but it's not quite the meeting with Brady I'm hoping for just yet.

El Scorchio 11:54 Tue Apr 11
Re: Stewarding this season
How many games have you missed out on due to this?

I'd say the least they can do is pop you in hospitality gratis or for the price of your current ticket next season.

Really poor treatment of a fan- good on you for fighting it all the way.

Fucking hell... even after all that you want to actually GO BACK into the stadium...

Re: Stewarding this season
I'm pleased you stood your ground and fought your corner and have the outcome you sought.

As far as the club is concerned they need to clearly demonstrate some contrition over your debacle and the general cock up that the stewarding has been.

Re: Stewarding this season
maybe they'll offer you a free season ticket to go away........... but some might see that as further punishment.

Re: Stewarding this season
Thanks all.

Hermit – Nothing yet, but I’m in the process of contacting her through avenues I actually met at court yesterday on the prosecution side. Funny how these things work out!

w4 – FSF put me in touch with Football Law Associates, they were my representatives, but I’ve thanked all parties, appreciated everyone’s hard work.

Your mum – I’m looking into that, potentially happy to accept a payment for me to just go away, but who knows if it’ll be offered.

Saw this on Twitter yesterday - absolute disgrace it went on this long and got this far.

No idea if you can, and normally hate the compensation culture, but I'd defo be looking into getting something out of the club, stadium and steward if I were you

Re: Stewarding this season
I'd be tempted to sue the other party & Brady for defamation of character, and any time & expense accrued in the last 5 months!

Re: Stewarding this season
well done- FSF Tweeted about this yesterday- they do a fantastic job, dont they!?

If I were you id take a run at the club and get Layyydy Brady onto it- no fucking way should this have gone to court

Well done. Pretty disgraceful that your life was turned upside down for 6 months though only for no evidence to be presented. Had an apology from Brady yet on Twitter?

Re: Stewarding this season
Morning all. Final update from me, and again to thank those who have continued to help and support leading up to yesterday's trial.

Trial lasted less than 10 minutes. The prosecutor asked for an adjournment as the steward didn't turn up. That was rejected, to which she replied "I have no evidence".

Almost 5 months, for that. Oh well, all done now and looking forward to Everton.

Again, thanks to all who have given info, contact details & in general, offered their support.

I'm considering the pre-match event against Everton, if anyone's there, come make yourself known. Would be nice to put some faces to names.
